Overview of Grantham University

Established in 1951 Grantham University, located in Kansas City, Missouri, is one of the oldest, private degree-granting distance education universities in the nation. The university offers an array of undergraduate and graduate degree programs through its Mark Skousen School of Business, College of Engineering, and College of Arts & Sciences.

Education Programs

  • Mark Skousen School of Business: The programs combine theoretical and applied courses. The textbooks emphasize the Austrian School of economics, finance and management.
  • College of Arts & Sciences: The programs place an emphasis on creative problem solving, effective writing and independent judgement. The school reports the curriculums are designed to meet the expectations of fast-evolving employment markets.

Faculty Members

Students have the opportunities to communicate with instructors through email, virtual classroom hours, and, if necessary, by telephone. Some faculty members are also available through Skype.

Admissions and Financial Aid Information

There are no SAT, ACT, GMAT, GRE, or standardized test requirements. Admission staff members guide applicants throughout the application process. Students can enroll for degree programs or on a class-by-class basis.

Grantham University has received approval by all branches of the military for tuition assistance. Military scholarships are available to qualified military personnel and their family members. Scholarships are also available to emergency responders. Scholarships and grants are available to federal government workers. A variety of financial assistance is also available.
