Florida Institute of Technology—better known as Florida Tech—is a private university located in Melbourne, Florida.

Florida Tech is mainly focused on engineering and science fields, and is a pioneer in aerospace technology. The university has trained numerous NASA scientists and astronauts.

Florida Tech includes the following colleges: College of Science; College of Engineering; College of Business; College of Aeronautics; and College of Psychology and Liberal Arts.

Florida Tech’s online programs are administered by Florida Tech University Online. Online programs use the same curriculum as the traditional programs.

Florida Tech University Online offers undergraduate and graduate degrees, as well as for-credit graduate certificates which can be earned in eight months.

Florida Tech is a member of the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges Consortium, which provides special military tuition assistance and military tuition pricing. Spouses of active-duty service members are eligible for the Military Spouse Appreciation Rate for Florida Tech undergraduate degree programs.
