Quinnipiac University, a private university located in Hamden, Connecticut, provides undergraduate and graduate degrees in an array of subjects via its School of Business; College of Arts and Sciences; School of Health Sciences; School of Communications; School of Nursing; School of Law; and School of Education.

The university offers both traditional and online courses.

Quinnipiac has about 6,200 undergraduate and 2,300 graduate students. Students can design their own major with help from a faculty member. The university has a 16-to-1 faculty-to-student ratio.
